The Jockey Club runs numerous restaurants, cafés and functions suites in racecourses across the UK. They wanted to be able to change their menu boards with live stock updates so they could direct queues of customers to the best place to purchase a certain item.
We manufactured and installed our ultra high brightness menu boards at Cheltenham Racecourse after speaking to them about how digital boards could be used to achieve the results they wanted. Our in-house digital content team consulted with the team at Cheltenham to come up with a digital signage content system which allowed them to update the menu content live. The team at Cheltenham received full, comprehensive training on the signage software so they can update the content themselves with no additional charges.
The ultra high brightness HD screens mean that the menu is clear and can be seen in all lighting set ups.
The Jockey Club have seen an improvement in the queue management at Cheltenham Racecourse and customers have been updated with live menu boards to avoid disappointment. This system has also improved the efficiency of staff when serving customers.
