Masala Bites Case Study

Masala Bites is a brand-new Indian street food shop based at Blackpool North Tram Station in the United Kingdom. Positioned at the heart of a busy commuter route, they offer a unique combination of traditional sandwiches and bold, flavour-packed Indian street food.

Their concept is designed with travellers in mind, providing quick, high-quality food for people on the go, as well as those who want to sit down and enjoy something delicious before beginning their journey.

Challenge

With their grand opening scheduled for 15th December, Masala Bites needed a way to effectively showcase their exciting new menu items, pricing, and deals. As a new food provider in a high-traffic transport environment, it was crucial that their offering be clear, eye-catching, and enticing to both commuters waiting on the platform and visitors passing by.

They required display solutions that could:

Communicate their diverse menu quickly and clearly
Attract new customers through the doors
Stand out in a fast-paced tram station setting
Be installed in time for their pre-Christmas opening despite ongoing venue works

Implementation

The installation was carried out efficiently and in coordination with other ongoing venue works:

All displays were installed prior to the grand opening to ensure the venue was fully prepared
Work was completed while new window tinting was being applied, requiring careful timing and flexibility
The boards and window screen were securely fitted and tested to ensure clarity, durability, and visual appeal
