Evesham Leisure Centre Case Study

Evesham Leisure Centre is a facility in Worcestershire that offers a large gym, two swimming pools, various exercise classes, racket and court sports, and community sport groups all managed by Rivers fitness. The centre is located on Abbey Road Evesham, WR11 7SW.

Challenge

The gyms mission is to improve the health and well being of the local community, to make the gym more appealing to those that are in the local community they decided it was time for the gym to have a full refurbishment.

Objective

The primary objective was to enhance the gym atmosphere and engage members by installing bright LED lights and signage displayed around the gym. This solution needed to be visually appealing.

Solution

After careful consideration of various suppliers, Pulse Fitness partnered with LCD Showcase, a UK based, internationally operating company that design, manufactures and provides a wide range of commercial and home fitness equipment and comprehensive leisure facility solutions to provide the lighting solution Rivers Fitness were looking for.

The chosen solution included:

LED Lighting

Stretch Area - Trapezoid linear suspended lighting (18m in total as per design) warm white with black housing - completed with frosted finish - Custom Shape
Main Gym - Trapezoid suspended lighting (60m as per design) warm white with black housing - completed with frosted finish - Custom Shape
Free Weight Area - Trapezoid linear suspended lighting 36m around perimeter of the recessed ceiling, with driver and remote controller - Black

Lighting Over CV Section

0.9m Flat Disc suspended feature - Cool white

Mirror Lighting

Mirror feature lighting- extrusion and frosted diffuser single colour- 30m total length.

Pendant Lighting Over Functional Area

6 light multi pendant suspended fixture (warm white)

2 x H20 in Blue
1 x Rivers Sign (on brand with the Rivers Fitness Logo)
