Egg Free Cake Box was established in 2008 and has been rapidly growing ever since, now with over 164 stores across the UK.
Egg Free Cake Box came to LCD Showcase to discuss their ideas for replacing their paper posters with digital signage displays. Due to the growth of their business, they wanted to be able to update content in all stores across the UK from one remote location. They were looking for a way to help create consistency in their marketing whilst having a robust solution that would be aesthetically pleasing and affordable.
Our team of AV experts were able to complete site surveys of a number of stores and discuss the requirements of the business.
After this research, our team designed a bespoke digital signage solution for Egg Free Cake Box that was tailored to each individual store and their requirements.
We designed and manufactured high bright digital signage displays for the client, meaning that the content can be seen in all lighting conditions with no glare. Our bespoke digital signage displays also included a special in-built Android OS, designed for Egg Free Cake Box, so that they could control all their content remotely at their marketing HQ. This software system also allows the client to create playlists, schedule content to go live on specific date and times at different locations, control access via asset tagging and permissions, broadcast emergency messages and much more.
We manufactured and installed three commercial digital signage screens with a PC media player and signage software above the counter where Egg Free Cake Box can show their menu and promotions. Our in-house digital signage content team set up the signage content and provided training to ensure that they could update the content instantly.
We were able to design a screen that met their requirements and budget, and Egg Free Cake Box now have digital signage screens in all their 164 branches across the UK.
Each branch has a display solution that is tailored to their needs, whilst the marketing team at HQ have control of the content to ensure brand consistency and save time in distribution of marketing assets to all franchise owners.
