Design and implement a sophisticated, large-scale LED lighting system to dramatically enhance the customer experience throughout the main gym floor.
Transform the spin studio into a high-energy, engaging zone using a combination of dynamic perimeter LED lighting and an integrated projection system for immersive classes.
Deliver a solution that was both visually impactful and functionally robust, contributing to Alexander Stadium's reputation as a leading fitness and athletics hub.

Solution

Following in-depth consultation, Pulse Fitness collaborated with LCD Showcase to design and deploy a tailored LED lighting and projection system. Key components included:

Main Gym Lighting: Strategically placed 1.2m ceiling-suspended and 7.5m wall-mounted RGBW linear fixtures with frosted diffusers delivered customizable ambient, accent, and vibrant colour wash lighting, all remotely controlled.
Specialized Mirror Lighting: Three feature mirrors were enhanced with 10m of RGB LED tape each, while the dumbbell rack mirror received a striking 25m perimeter of RGB LED tape, all using frosted diffusers for a modern, energetic glow.
Spinning Studio Transformation: A 45m rectangular/square RGB LED fixture created dynamic perimeter lighting, complemented by an immersive laser projection system (including a 3m screen and trigger mechanism) for engaging class visuals and performance data.

Implementation

The installation process was meticulously planned and executed by LCD Showcase to ensure minimal disruption to the stadium's refurbishment schedule and future opening:

Phased Approach: Initial lighting installations in the main gym were completed prior to the official gym opening. Subsequent work, particularly in the spin studio, was conducted during the stadium's closing hours to avoid any interference with other contractors or early operations.
